Yorktown Condominiums Safety Harbor, Florida Sinkhole Remediation Pressure Grouting & Underpinning Geotechnical Engineer: BCI, FT&E, and CFTL Structural Engineer: Bracken Engineering The Yorktown Complex is located in the heart of Safety Harbor, where sinkhole activity and clay shrinkage is a common problem. CFIÕs experience played a key role in working with the project engineers to develop an innovative approach to this type of dual cause settlement problem. CFI has performed work on over 22 buildings to date, drilling over 10,700 lineal feet of casing, injecting over 3,800 cubic yards of grout and installing over 1,700 steel underpins. By working closely with the property management company and the condominium association, our performance on this project made all the difference.
